Pilates Studio Nantucket.
Our philosophy is to educate and enlighten and to retain the integrity and discipline of a beautiful method of exercise. The ability to move is a gift worth keeping, but to move well and efficiently requires knowledge, a conscious mind and a commitment to the task. We feel that, attention to detail and form is of the utmost importance. It is never about arriving at a shape, it is about the degree of skill used to get there.
Virtual Group Sessions
We can’t hold group classes in the studio just yet, so we are coming together virtually via Zoom! We hope to see you back on the mats in July, but we will keep our virtual doors open too!
Private Sessions
Our doors are now open for private instruction both at the studio and via Zoom! One-on-one or Duet lessons are the most effective way to focus on your individual body needs and goals, and are ideal for those who wish to have a little extra attention and supervision.
MELT Method
MELT brings your body back to a more ideal state by directly enhancing body awareness, re-hydrating connective tissue and quieting the nervous system. The first time you MELT, you see and feel a difference!
“Lisa, I think it says so much about your ability to teach that you have transitioned so seamlessly to zoom. I’m so happy to be a part of it!!” - Amanda
“Before I took Pilates, my back would go out annually to the point where I would be relegated to the floor for up to a week. With Pilates, my body is stronger and able to support my back, and I no longer suffer from debilitating back pain.
When I take Pilates, people are always asking me if I've lost weight when I haven't lost a pound. Pilates transforms my body in a positive way, enhances my posture, and changes the way everything falls into place for the better.” - Laura
"I love my Zoom classes with Lisa. I’m learning an even deeper understanding of my body and musculature etc. by using my own body (and it’s weight) rather than Pilates apparatuses. There is a ‘silver lining’ and Lisa has guided me to it! Thank you Lisa." - In gratitude, Lucille (Jordan)
